Condominium Project (Yonge and Bloor), City of Toronto
Acted for the developer of a condominium proposal on Hayden Street before the Ontario Municipal Board. Evidence at the Board supported maintaining increases in density that had been granted based on the provision of assisted housing prior to the cancellation of funding through Provincial programs.

Five-Unit Infill Housing Project (Donvale), City of Toronto
Acted for the developer at an Ontario Municipal Board hearing for a five-unit infill residential project in the Donvale neighbourhood by providing evidence in support of the proposal.

Condominium Project (Kipling-Eglinton), Etobicoke
Acted for a developer in support of applications for official plan and zoning by-law amendments to permit the development of a 12-storey condomium building on Whiticombe Hill Boulevard in the area of Kipling Avenue and Eglinton Avenue West. Based on the evidence presented, the Ontario Municipal Board approved the project.

Loft Condominium Project (Yonge and Davisville), City of Toronto
Acted in support of a motion to dismiss an appeal of approval by the Committee of Adjustment for a loft condominium project on Merton Street. The Ontario Municipal Board found the appeal to be without merit and for the purposes of delay, and therefore dismissed the appeal and approved the applications without a hearing.

Infill Housing Project (Finch Avenue West), North York
Assisted a developer during acquisition of a property on Finch Avenue West with the evaluation of the applicable policies in the development of preliminary design concepts to determine feasibility, development potential and the need to acquire additional property. The property was developed with townhouses.

Single Detached Residence (Forest Hill), City of Toronto
Acted for a developer regarding an application to the Committee of Adjustment to sever a portion of a large lot with an existing dwelling in order to construct a new dwelling on Heath Street West. Based on our assessment of the risk and our recommendation to sever only a portion of the lot and sell it to a neighbour, the project was successful.

Single Detached Residences (Forest Hill), City of Toronto
Acted for a developer regarding Committee of Adjustment applications for the creation of three units within an existing dwelling. Alternative plans involved creation of only two units, plus the construction of a second dwelling. The Ontario Municipal Board approved the scenario involving two units and a new dwelling.

Single Detached Residence (Rosedale), City of Toronto
Acted for a landowner in seeking approvals for a proposed residence on Glen Road, in Rosedale, by providing evidence before the Ontario Municipal Board. The proposal was opposed by neighbouring landowners and City planning staff. The decision, which initially denied approval, was subsequently reversed by the Board on appeal.
